FAQ

  1. Entries
    • There is a $20 fee per entrant
    • You may enter as many times as you wish however each entry must have a unique email address
    • The fee must be paid in full before the start of the first game or the entrant will be removed

  2. Making your picks
    • Spreads are posted online every Tuesday evening during the NFL season (and playoffs) by 11:00pm (unless there are unforeseen circumstances preventing this at which point the pool entrants will be notified appropriately)
    • Entrants are notified by email so it is incumbent upon each entrant to ensure they are receiving emails weekly
    • Poolies must make their picks every week to qualify for any "Gamer" awards
    • The deadline for making picks are 5 minutes before game time, if a poolie does not make their picks before the deadline they will receive the DEFAULT picks for that week (refer to the rules for each game for details)
    • Poolies may change their picks at any time until the deadline by simply resubmitting the picks on the website

  • Spreads are determined from the lines posted on SportsInteraction (http://sportsinteraction.com/) as well as Scores And Odds (http://www.scoresandodds.com/)
  • Each week a line is given for each game. In that line the FAVOURITE is given a MINUS NUMBER indicating the must win by more than that number and the UNDERDOG is given a PLUS NUMBER indicating they must either WIN the game or LOSE BY LESS than that number.
  • DEFAULT picks are the HOME team.
  • Example : a line could be .... Green Bay (-3.5) @ Houston (+3.5)
    * If you picked Green Bay, they MUST WIN BY MORE THAN 3.5 POINTS for you to win!
** If you picked Houston, they CAN EITHER WIN THE GAME or LOSE BY LESS THAN 3.5 POINTS for you to win!

  3. For each of these games, you will assign a point value from 1 to 13 based on how strongly you feel about the accuracy of your selection, if you win your selection you will be awarded the points you assigned to that game, if you lose your selection you will not be awarded any points that you assigned to that game
